Harbour Development - Cow Head, NL

Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement on behalf of Department of Fisheries and Oceans for Harbour Development at Cow Head, NL.  The work of this project will consist of, but is not limited to the following:  the construction of a new 60m rubble mound breakwater, the reconstruction of the existing rubble mound, harbour dredging, and the replacement of the wheel guard, coping & fenders on the existing wharfs.  Also included is the removal, sorting, stockpiling, supply and installation of core stone, filter stone and armour stone (1-8 tonne) in size.  Dredged material and old timber will be disposed as outlined in specifications.

Before submitting a bid, it is recommended the bidders visit the site and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, materials needed and the means of access to the site.  Contractors, bidders or those they invite to site should refer to Section 01 35 29, Item 1.11 Project/Site Conditions of specifications before performing any site inspection or preliminary work on site.

Bidders must refer to General Instructions G2710T (2016-04-04) for the Integrity Provisions (Code of Conduct and Certification) applicable to this requirement.
