Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement on behalf ofthe Department of Fisheries and Oceans for wharf reconstruction at Port Saunders, NL.  This will consist of construction activities to demolish, remove, dispose of and replace the existing finger pier at Port Saunders.  This work is comprised of but shall not be limited to the removal and demolition of a 32.7 m timber crib finger pier and a 18.4 m timber crib marginal wharf and associated  components, the supply and installation of a new treated timber crib wharf  with coping and reinforced concrete deck, dredging, relocation of electrical pedestal, as well as the supply and installation of cleats, fenders, wheelguards, blocking, lighting poles, electrical conduit and scour protection and other related work.

Contractors, bidders or thosethey invite to site are to review specification Section 01 35 28 - Health and Safety Requirements before visiting the site and take all appropriate safety measures.
