Request for Standing Offer - Minor Works, Central & Western Newfoundland and Southern Labrador

Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for a Standing Offer for Minor Works in Western and Central Newfoundland and Southern Labrador. This work will include the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material to carry out minor works to in-water marine structures, uplands marine structures, road structures, parking areas, buildings and miscellaneous properties located at various Parks Canada sites, Fisheries and Oceans sites and Transport Canada sites in Newfoundland and Labrador.

The term of this Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) will be 2 years from date of issuance, on an “as and when requested basis”.  Canada reserves the right to award to more than one contractor.  Individual call-up amounts will vary, up to a maximum of $100,000 (HST I).  A Standing Offer is an agreement and not a contract.  Canada does not guarantee that the full amount, or that any amount, will be called up on any resulting RISO.

It is PWGSC’s intention to authorize up to two standing offers on the basis of Right of First Refusal.

Bidders must refer to section 01 35 29 Health and Safety Requirements of specification before performing any site inspection or preliminary work on site.
