Wharf Repairs, Burin, NL

Public Services and Procurement Canada has a requirement for Wharf Repairs at the SAR Facility is Burin, NL.

The work covered under this contract consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material to complete the work.  In general, work under this contract consists of, but will not necessarily be limited to, demolition and removal of a portion of the existing reinforced concrete deck, fenders, ladders, mooring cleats, wheelguard, wheelguard blocking and coping, as required to complete the repairs.
Also included is the supply and installation of sheet piling, socketed pipe piles, tie-back anchors, reinforced concrete deck complete with thickened slab atop piling, mooring cleats, wales (attached to sheet piling), fenders, ladders, wheelguard (chemically anchored to concrete) and wheelguard blocking.

Relocation and reinstatement of the floating dock and associated components as required to facilitate access for work is also required.

Contractors, bidders or those they invite to site should refer to Section 01 10 10, Item 1.5 Familiarization with Site of specifications before performing any site inspection or preliminary work on site.
