    Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for Roof Replacement on the St. John’s Community Correctional Centre (CCC) facility in St. John’s, Newfoundland.
    
    The work consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for the Roof Replacement. In general, work under this contract consist of:
    
    .1 Demolition of existing roofing system to install new.
    .2 Roof replacement.
    .3 Gutters and downspouts replacement.
    
    
    Bidders must refer to R2710T GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - CONSTRUCTION SERVICES - BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS (GI) (2017-04-27) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
     
    There will be a site visit on August 3, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. On the day of the site visit all interested parties should meet at the Main Entrance of the St. John’s Community Correctional Centre (CCC), Building 531, Pleasantville, St. John’s, NL.
     
    There is a security clearance required to attend this site visit. ALL interested bidders, regardless of current clearance level, must submit the Institutional Access CPIC Clearance request form located in Annex D of this solicitation document. With the CPIC, bidders must also provide a copy of an official form of photo identification such as a driver’s license or passport. These must submitted to Cheryl O'Brien by fax at 709-772-6066 or e-mail Cheryl.O'Brien@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca by 16:00 hours, July 14, 2017. 
     
    Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
