Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for interior building renovations including mechanical and electrical and removal of existing dormers and replacement of roof shingles at the Search and Rescue (SAR) Station in St. Anthony, NL.

Bidders must refer to R2710T GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - CONSTRUCTION SERVICES - BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS (GI) (2017-09-21) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. There will be a site visit on Thursday, February 1st, 2018 at 2:00 PM. 

On the day of the site visit all interested parties should meet at the main entrance of the former MCTS building at St. Anthony, NL (72 West St). You will need to bring photo identification such as drivers license or passport and will be escorted during site visit.

Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that bidders visit the site and its surroundings to review and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, materials needed, the means of access and the temporary facilities required to perform the work.
