Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the construction of a new building on an unprepared site at the DFO Facility in Old Perlican, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Work of this project includes, but is not limited to the following: 

.1 Construction of two new buildings that include but is not limited to the following: 
.1 Wood and steel framing with wood siding, asphalt shingles, exterior fibreglass windows and doors, and steel overhead doors. 
.2 Interior wood framed partitions, finishes, metal doors and frames, wood doors, and equipment 
.2 Associated mechanical and electrical systems. 
.3 Associated hardscaping. 


FAMILIARIZATION WITH SITE 

Before submitting a bid, it is recommended that bidders visit the site to review and verify the form, nature and extent of the work, materials needed, the means of access and the temporary facilities required to perform the Work. 

Obtain prior permission from the Departmental Representative before carrying out such.

Bidders must refer to R2710T GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS - CONSTRUCTION SERVICES - BID SECURITY REQUIREMENTS (GI) (2018-06-21) for the Integrity Provisions applicable to this requirement.
