NOTE: The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an unprecedented impact on the health of Canadians. COVID-19 vaccines are a critical tool that reduce the risk of COVID-19 and protect broader public health. As a responsible employer, the Government of Canada is committed to protecting the health and safety of its employees. On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced its Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. (https://www.tbs-sct.gc.ca/pol/doc-eng.aspx?id=32694) In alignment with this important measure, all supplier personnel (including subcontractor personnel) who access federal government workplaces will also be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This requirement came into effect on November 15,2021 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Public Works and Government Services Canada has a requirement for the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for Floating Plant Dredging of Class "B" underwater materials at the following locations: .1 Cap Lumiere Channel .2 St Edouard Channel .3 Caissie Cap Channel .4 Cap-Pele channel .5 Barre de Cocagne channel Place dredged material at the ocean disposal site at each of the wharf locations, in the Westmorland and Kent Counties, Gulf Region, New Brunswick. The Contractor must perform and complete the Work as follows: .1 Cap Lumiere channel to be dredged by May 30 2022. .2 St Edouard Channel to be dredged by July 20 2022. .3 Caissie Cap Channel to be dredged by July 10 2022. .4 Cap-Pele Channel to be dredged by July 20 2022. .5 Barre de Cocagne to be dredged by July 20 2022. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.001681.001 forming part of the bid document. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: greater than $500,001 - $1,000,000 (HST excluded). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required. A bid opening will be held at the Bid Receiving Unit, Room 4479, 4th floor, 1045 Main Street, MONCTON, New Brunswick. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS). Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents.
