Diesel Fire Pump Replacement - Dorchester Penitentiary, Dorchester, New Brunswick

The work covered under this project consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and materials for the removal and replacement of Diesel Fire Pump. The work location is Dorchester Penitentiary, Dorchester, New Brunswick.  All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.111500.001 forming part of the bid document.  The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within thirty (28) weeks after award.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be an optional site visit on April 05, 2022 at 11:00 hours. All interested bidders are to meet at the Commissionaires office, first building on the right of the Dorchester Penitentiary, Dorchester, New Brunswick. 
Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work. 
Contractors interested in participating in the site visit are required to register with the Contracting Authority in advance by e-mail at edward.johnston@pwgsc.gc.ca by no later than 3:00 pm on April 04, 2022.
All bidder questions will be submitted to the Contracting Authority and answered by solicitation amendment/addendum following the site visit. No cameras or cell phones will be allowed on the site.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: greater than $100,001 - $500,000 (HST excluded). Standard bid and contract security for the construction is required.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Inquiries are to be made in accordance with S102 - Enquiries During The Solicitation Period, under Special Instructions To Bidders in the solicitation document.
