The work under this contract involves providing and install four (4) new natural gas fired high efficiency boilers complete with multi-boiler control panel and associated hydronic circulation pumps at Fredericton Research and Development Centre. All work is to be performed in accordance with the plans and specifications for PWGSC Project Number R.106443.002 forming part of the bid document

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following category: $250,001 - $500,000 (HST excluded). Standard bid and contract security for construction is required.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
There will be two optional site visits on July 27, 2020 and July 28, 2020. Although not mandatory, all contractors wishing to submit a tender for this work are encouraged to attend to become familiar with all aspects of the work. Contractors interested in participating in the site visit are required to register with the Contracting Authority in advance by e-mail at sandra.lomax@pwgsc.gc.ca by no later than 4:00 pm on July 24, 2020. The Contracting Authority will assign a specific time slot. The contractors representative must not have travelled internationally in the past 14 days, must not have symptoms of COVID-19, and must respect physical distancing measures while on site. The Departmental Representative will show the site to one contractor representative at a time (one-on-one). All bidder questions will be submitted to the Contracting Authority and answered by solicitation amendment/addendum following the site visit.
Bidders are to meet at the Main Entrance of the Fredericton Research and Development Centre, 85 Lincoln Rd, Fredericton, NB, 10 minutes prior to their specific time slot.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
