Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EC015-220408/A Lomax (PWJ), Sandra Telephone No. - (506) 639-8503 Fax No. - (506) 851-6759 JC Van Horne Bridge - Approach Span Steel Strengthening and Approach Span Bottom Chord Repair REQUIREMENT In general, work under this contract consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment, and materials for the repair of the JC Van Horne Bridge south approach span truss bottom chord and the strengthening of 48 diagonal members and replacement of a lateral brace on the approach spans of the JC Van Horne The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: $2,500,001 - $3,000,000 (HST extra). SITE VISIT There is no site visit scheduled for this requirement. INDIGENOUS BENEFITS PLAN The Contractor must submit the Indigenous Benefits Plan for Canada’s approval with their tender package as outlined in the additional document attachments. Submission of an Indigenous Benefits Plan is mandatory. Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond. Enquiries are to be made in accordance with S103 - Enquiries During the Solicitation Period, under Special Instructions To Bidders in the solicitation document INFORMATION: Standard bid and contract security for construction is required. Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS). Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public Works and Government Services and may be viewed at buyandsell.gc.ca. This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in both official languages. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
