Oshawa, Ontario.  Oshawa Harbour Former Marina.  Implementation
of phytohydraulic barrier
Project No:  R.062265.001

The work includes but not limited to the provision of all
labour, materials and equipment of the implementation of the
phytohydraulic barrier at the Oshawa Harbour Marina.  Works also
includes the provision, planting and maintenance of selected
types of poplar trees for the purpose of the remediation of the
ground water and at locations shown on drawings and described in
the specification.  

An Optional site visit:
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site.  
to examine the scope of work and visit existing site conditions.
 Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work .  The site
visit will be held on March 20, 2013 at 10:00 A.M.  
at the site.  Interested bidders are to meet at 1621 Simcoe
Street South. Oshawa, Ontario.
Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting

attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
attend.  Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. 
Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded
from submitting a bid.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation..

The duration of work is schedule to be completed within 140
calendar days from the date of notification of acceptance of the
offer.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
cost category: 
Between $200,000.00 and $300,000.00

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard
paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1)
contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which
consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized
directory structure.
