    Project Title: Thames River, Ontario - Wharf Rehabilitation
     
    Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Real Property Contracting, on behalf of Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours, has a requirement for wharf rehabilitation at Thames River.
    
    Project Description 
    The project site is the government wharf located at the mouth of the Thames River on Lake St. Clair (south side), in the Town of Lakeshore, approximately 65 km west of Windsor, ON.
    
    The work consists of, but not limited to, the following:
    
    1. Encapsulating the existing return walls and launch ramp side walls with          steel sheet piling;
    2. Installing a new steel pile cap on sheet pile walls; 
    3. Replacing the launch ramp with new precast panels;
    4. Installing new safety ladders;
    5. Removing the existing timber pile fenders, and installing new fenders;
    6. Repairing the existing concrete parapet wall; and
    7. Installing a new asphalt deck.
    
    Completion Time
    The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within 20 weeks, from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
    
    Site Visit
    There is no site visit for this project.
    
    Mandatory Requirements:
    Bidders must meet all the mandatory requirements specified in the tender document.  Failure to comply with any or all the mandatory requirements will render the bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the bid.
    
    Any changes or clarifications will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
