Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Project No. 722283 Project Title: HOWDENVALE, ONTARIO - WHARF REHABILITATION EXTENSION OF TIME Notice is hereby given that the closing date for the reception of tenders previously due on October 22, 2019 at 14:00 hours is extended to October 24, 2019 at 14:00 hours. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Real Property Contracting, on behalf of Department of Fisheries and Oceans, Small Craft Harbours, has a requirement at the Habour for wharf rehabilitation in Howdenvale, Ontario. The purpose of this project is to rehabilitate the existing timber pile. The facility is located in a well sheltered sub basin of Lake Huron, approximately 20 kilometres northwest of Wiarton. The work involves the partial demolition of the existing timber pile with timber deck; driving of new steel sheet piling around the footprint of the timber wharf; and backfilling the steel sheet pile structure with granular material. Other associated work to include the installation of tieback anchors, and the installation of new concrete deck and anchor walls. Construction Time The Contractor must start Work on site the 1st December 2019 and complete the Work within (17) weeks from this date. Optional Site Visit There will be a site visit on the 10th October 2019 at 1:00 p.m. Interested bidders are to meet at 25 Dock Road, Howdenvale, Ontario Coordinates: (44.821531, -81.305505) Bidders are requested to register 24 hours prior to the site visit, with the Contracting Officer, Mary Caporusso mary.caporusso@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca.gc.ca, to confirm their attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Mandatory Requirements Bidders must meet all the mandatory requirements specified in the tender document. Failure to comply with any or all the mandatory requirements will render the bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the bid. Any changes or clarifications will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
