Bidders are requested to register prior to the site visit with the Contracting Officer,Mary Caporusso mary.caporusso@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca to confirm their attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. THERE IS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT FOR THIS PROJECT. Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC), Real Property Contracting, on behalf of Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) requires services for the Sanitary Pit Refurbishment in the Boiler Plant located at 867 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario L7S 1A1. All work shall be in accordance with Drawings and Specification Project No.CCIW - 079. The work under this contract shall cover the furnishing of all labour, material, tools and equipment, plant,and supervision required to refurbish two (2) sanitary pits including all associated pumps, pump controls and piping. PROJECT VALUE: The estimated cost for this project is between $100,001 - $500,000 HST extra. CONSTRUCTION TIME: The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within sixteen (16) weeks from date of notification of acceptance of the offer. SECURITY REQUIREMENT FOR CANADIAN SUPPLIER: The Contractor/Offeror must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer/Supply Arrangement, hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). 1.The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid RELIABILITY STATUS, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC. 2. Subcontracts which contain security requirements are NOT to be awarded without the prior written permission of CISD/PWGSC. 3.The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of the: a. Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if applicable), attached at solicitation document Annex A; b. Industrial Security Manual (Latest Edition). MANDATORY SITE VISIT: There will be a site visit on November 6, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Interested bidders are to meet at 867 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, Ontario L7S 1A1. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY. The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected. Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site. Any changes or clarifications will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS: Bidders must meet all the mandatory requirements specified in the tender document. Failure to comply with any or all the mandatory requirements will render the bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the bid.
