Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EQ754-170947/A Jackson, Dahlia Telephone No. - (416) 512-5918 Fax No. - (416) 512-5862 Solicitation No. EQ754-170947/A, Port Severn, ON - Rehabilitation of Port Severn Area Dams, Fixed Bridge and Lock SCOPE OF SERVICES: Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of Parks Canada Agency, intends to engage the services of a suitably qualified engineering firm, with sub-consultants as necessary, in the capacity of Design Consultant to undertake the rehabilitation of dams, fixed bridges, lock and associated structures at Port Severn, located on the Trent-Severn Waterway. The project objectives include a comprehensive rehabilitation of the dams, fixed bridges, lock and associated structures at Port Severn while protecting their heritage value and character-defining elements to the extent possible. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT: Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at 09:00 a.m. at Lock #45, 175 Port Severn Rd. N., District of Muskoka, Port Severn, Ontario, L0K 1S0. Proponents should dress according to outdoor weather conditions and wear safety boots or hiking shoes as well as a reflective vest as a minimum personal safety apparel. Proponents are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority named on the RFP - Page 1 two (2) business days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Proponents may be requested to sign an attendance form. Proponents who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment. Proponents who do not attend will not be precluded from submitting a proposal. Any clarifications or changes to the solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the solicitation. RFP DETAILS: This Request for Proposal (RFP) is a One-Phase process, Proponents responding to this RFP are requested to submit only one proposal. Proposals will be evaluated for both technical content and price. Proposals are to cover the Proponent's Achievements on Similar Projects, the Achievements of Senior Team Leaders and Engineering Team Members, the Proponent’s Understanding of the Project Milestones,Scheduleand Consultant Team Personnel Requirements, the Proponent’s Overall Design Approach and proposed pricing. The proposal rankings will be based on 90% for technical evaluation and 10% for price. The Proponent whose responsive proposal achieves the highest total score is the first entity that the Evaluation Board will recommend be approached in order to finalize details of an agreement for the provision of the required services. The purpose is to select the highest ranked experienced firm ofConsultants and sub-consultants to fulfil the services required for this project. ESTIMATED CONTRACT VALUE: The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following range: $2,250,000.00 and $3,500,000.00 (HST excluded). *** Engineering firmsinterested in providing these services may order the Request for Proposal documents which are distributed through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS).
