Solicitation Amendment 003 is raised to provide an extension to the bid closing date, answer potential bidder’s questions, and make revisions to the Specification, provided as attachments on buyandsell.


The work under this contract covers the furnishing of all labour, material, tools, equipment, plant, and supervision required to rehabilitate the Lock 29A Upper Basin.  The work involves the rehabilitation of the upper basin walls, including localized repairs, wall refacing, wall reconstruction, and handrail replacement. The Lock 29A Basin is located in the town of Smith’s Falls, with access from Beckwith Street (Beckwith St S at Canal Street, Smiths Falls, ON).

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT

There will be a site visit on Thursday September 21st at 2:00pm. Interested bidders are to meet at the Victoria Park Campground at 30 Lombard St. in Smiths Falls ON (see Initial Staging Area on drawing 101)
