    The work under this contract covers the furnishing of all labor, material, tools, equipment, plant, transportation (FOB site), and supervision required to renovate the ranges in MHG building at Millhaven Institution.   The work involves replacement of shower laundry, kitchenette and janitorial room spaces.  Renovation includes but is not limited to structural, masonry, plumbing, electrical, mechanical (HVAC), fire safety systems, building controls and metal fabrication. 
     
    This work will require: extended hours of work, undergoing daily access control processes, strict accounting for material, labor and related actual expenses, and adapting to unforeseen interruptions due to site operational requirements. 
    Contractor will be responsible for providing personnel that meet the minimum requirements to access facilities within the institution and will replace personnel that have been excluded for any reason by site security.  
     
    The Millhaven Institution is accessed via the Correctional Service Canada entrance off of Bath Road/Highway 33 located mid-way between Bath, ON and the Amherst Island Ferry Dock. 
    
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT
    
    1.There will be a site visit on January 9, 2020 at 10:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at the Millhaven Institution Parking Lot at Highway 33, Bath ON K0H 1G0. Bidders must register with the Contracting Officer, Ambreen Dhillon at ambreen.dhillon@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca, to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend by Tuesday January 7, 2020 at 10:00am. 
    
     
    2.The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.

    CONSTRUCTION TIME
    
    The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within (10) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
