Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EQ754-170673/A Hassell, Bob Telephone No. - (416) 590-8270 ( ) Fax No. - (416) 512-5862 ( ) Newmarket, On - Backup Generator Scope of Work Work of this Contract comprises of general construction and modifications to existing site, building and building systems to allow for the complete installation of a new 1,000kW standby power generator set. Site location is within the municipal limits of the Town of Newmarket, Ontario. This facility is designated as Post-Disaster Facility inaccordance with the National Building Code of Canada. All installations, modifications and/or equipment provided under this contract must be seismic resistant, seismically built, and/or seismically certified (i.e. equipment). Design and dimensions shownon contract drawings for the infrastructure related to the generator set (i.e. concrete pad, catwalk, etc.) is based on one of the local generator set vendors and is provided to outline the project design intent and requirements. Contractis to includein its scope of work for sufficient materials to meet the intent of the project design intent and requirements, based on whichever generator vendor is being proposed for the project. OPTIONAL SITE VISIT An Optional site visit will be held on August 4, 2016 at 1:00PM. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendants by 1:00PM on August 3, 2016. Bidders are to meet at the site, 345 Harry Walker Parkway South, Newmarket, Ontario. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within twenty eight (28) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS SI02) Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If such a listhasnot been receivedby the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to providethe information. Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must alwayssubmit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time,request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named inthe aforementioned list within a specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 2 OF THE "ITT" DOCUMENT) Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings andSpecifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
