BC-62 will also provide administrative and storage areas for Correctional Services Canada (CSC) staff. The original General Contractor work is now completed. However, there is additional work required at BC-62 prior to building occupancy. The scope of this project includes various architectural, mechanical and electrical work such as the installation of a building security alarm, installation of fire detecting devices to comply with National Fire Code, installation of HVAC piping to comply with National Building Code, installation of exterior access doors and platforms into attic space, waterproofing of washroom floors, interconnection of public address system to main campus, installation of sump pumps and connection to security system, commissioning testing and reporting, etc. Optional Site Visit An Optional site visit will be held on January 6, 2017 at 10:00AM Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendants. Please contact the Contracting Officer,Bob Hassell at (416)-590-8270 and email bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Bidders are to meet at the Finance and Parole Building, Beaver Creek Institution, Correctional Services Canada, 2000 Beaver Creek Drive , Gravenhurst, On P1P 1Y2. Notice must be provided to Bob Hassell 48 hrs in advance of Optional Site Visit as requested by CSC. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be givenan alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work withintwelve (12) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS(REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TOBIDDERS SI02) Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directorsof the Bidder. If such a list has not been receivedby the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to providethe information. Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must alwayssubmit the listof directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time,request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named inthe aforementionedlist within a specified delay. Failureto provide such ConsentForms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 2 OF THE "ITT" DOCUMENT) Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note thatAttachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings andSpecifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directorystructure.
