    Scopeof Work
    The project is located in two buildings in Joyceville Federal Institution, located on Highway 15, approximately 20 kilometers northeast of Kingston.  The project work is to install a new wet sprinkler system in Building PP43, which is approximately 800 sq. m. in area and to install a new fire water service line to service the building sprinklers.  The project work in Building PP51 is to replace the existing dry sprinkler system in the attic with a new dry sprinkler system complete with nitrogengas pressurization. Theattic is approximately 1200 sq. m. in area.
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT 
    There will be a Mandatory site visit on February 3, 2017 at 1:00pm. The meeting location is at Gatehouse to Pittsburgh Institution (Minimum Security institution)adjacent to Joyceville Institution. The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the bidder will be required to sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendancesheet will not be accepted. It is mandatory that the bidder attend the mandatory site visit at the designated date and time to examine the scope of the work required and the existing conditions. Bidders are requested to register with the Contracting Officer, Bob Hassell at bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca or 416-590-8270, to confirm their attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Notice must be provided to Bob Hassell 48 hrs in advance of Mandatory Site Visit as requested by CSC. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    The duration of work is 16 weeks from date of award letter.

If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to providethe information.  Failure to provide such a listwithin the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive.  Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementioned list withina specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
