Scope of Work Work of this contract comprises abatement of lead-based paint from the exterior of the Pointe au Baril Range Rear Light Station structure located on Macklin Island, Georgian Bay, Ontario. Abated materials will need to be repainted. Debris piles found at various locations across the site will be removed from the site. All waste will be disposed of off-property in appropriate waste facilities. Optional Site Visit An Optional site visit will be held on August 16, 2017 at 10:00AM Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with the name of only one (1)attendant. Project site is an island, therefore, transportation over water will be provided as well personal flotation devices. Please contact the Contracting Officer,Bob Hassell at (416)-590-8270 and email bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Bidders are to meet at 18 Desmasdon’s Rd, Pointe au Baril, On. It is off of North Shore Rd which intersects highway 69. Notice must be provided to Bob Hassell in advance of Optional Site Visit. Mandatory health and safety protection to be worn by visitors to the site visit include: steel-toe boots and high-visibility vest. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. The duration of work is six (6) weeks from date of award. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS(REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TOBIDDERS SI02) Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If such a list has not been receivedby the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time,request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named inthe aforementioned list within a specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 2 OF THE "ITT" DOCUMENT) Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
