Domestic Hot Water Retrofit, Millhaven

Scope of Work
This project work site is at two Institutions. Collins Bay and Millhaven New Maximum Security buildings.
Work of this contract is composed of removal and disposal of existing domestic water mixing valves. Revising piping configuration to combine upper and lower floor water supply into one. Installing new domestic water mixing valves to suit a Hi-Lo valve configuration. Relocating exiting domestic hot water recirculation pumps. Restoring thermal pipe insulation and pipe identification system. Commissioning and testing the new mixing valve and piping installation.


COMPLETION TIME
The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within eight (8) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

MANDATORY SITE VISIT
There will be a Mandatory Site Visit on Thursday March 01, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interested bidders are to meet at Millhaven Institution main entrance at Highway 33 Bath, Ontario K0H 1G0.
The site visit for this project is MANDATORY.  The representative of the Bidder must sign the Site Visit Attendance Sheet at the site visit. Bids submitted by Bidders who have not signed the attendance sheet will be rejected.

Bidders will be required to register with the Contracting Authority Bob Hassell prior to the site meeting and provide name(s) of individuals attending, no later than 10:00 a.m. Monday,February 26, 2018. CSC requires prior notice to ensure gate passes are issued.  Identification MUST be brought to the site meeting otherwise there will be no access.
