Scope of Work
The work under this contract covers the furnishing of all labour, material, tools, equipment, plant and supervision required to replace a rooftop air handling unit.  The work involves removal of the existing unit and curb, installation of a new air handling unit and curb, modification of ductwork as necessary for the installation of the new unit, and modification/repair of the roofing system and structure as necessary for the removal and installation of the unit.  The replacement work is to be completed through Friday afternoon to Sunday evening, start up and operational.  The unit is located at the Public Health Agency Canada building, 110 Stone Road West, Guelph, Ontario.

Optional Site Visit
An Optional site visit will be held on Monday,June 11, 2018 at 10:00AM. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendants. Please contact the Contracting Officer,Bob Hassell at (416)-590-8270 and email bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Bidders are to meet at National Microbiology Laboratory, 110 Stone Rd West., Guelph, Ontario, N1G 3W4. Notice must be provided to Bob Hassell in advance of Optional Site Visit.
 
Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The duration of work is sixteen (16) weeks from date of award.

Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder.  If such a list has not been receivedby the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to providethe information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time,request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementionedlist within a specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
