Scope of Work
Provide new fibre optic backbone cable in new buried concrete ductbank around property perimeter.
Provide new fibre network switches in existing camera poles.
Provide fibre optic termination equipment at existing poles and in head end locations (2).
Provide mockup for factory acceptance testing of the CPE network switch, the new hardened switch, fibre optic setup and a camera for acceptance.
Provide new buried junction box and reconfigure existing power connections at each camera pole.
Provide new buried junction box and connect new fibre at each camera pole.
Remove redundant concrete base at each camera pole.
Removal of existing fibre cables and network equipment after cutover to new system.
Relocation of existing camera pole C30 c/w new concrete base and extension of existing power and fibre cabling.
All required excavation, concrete work, and backfilling forms part of this project.

Optional Site Visit
An Optional site visit will be held on Wednesday, July 11,2018 at 11:00AM Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendants. Please contact the Contracting Officer,Bob Hassell at (416)-590-8270 and email bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Bidders are to meet at 1575 Homer Watson Blvd, Kitchener, Ontario, N2P 2C5.The Meeting Spot is the Main Entrance, buzz at main gate for entrance into Facility. Notice must be provided to Bob Hassell in advance of Optional Site Visit.
 
Bidders will be required to register with the Contracting Authority Bob Hassell prior to the site meeting and provide name(s) of individuals attending, no later than 11:00am. Monday, July 9 2018. CSC requires prior notice to ensure gate passes are issued.  Identification MUST be brought to the site meeting otherwise there will be no access.

Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.

The duration of work is twenty- six (26) weeks from date of award.

Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directorsof the Bidder.  If such a list has not been receivedby the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to providethe information.  Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time,request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named inthe aforementionedlist within a specified delay. Failureto provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.
