Envelope & Exterior Upgrades EQ754-191400/A Hassell, Bob Telephone No. - (416) 590-8270 Fax No. - (416) 512-5862 Email - bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca Canadian Coast Guard Base - Parry Sound, Ontario - Building Envelope & Exterior Upgrades Scope of Work This project consists of base-building exterior envelope Upgrades for the Parry Sound Canadian Coast Guard Base. The scope of work covers several buildings, including small ancillary buildings, which support the ongoing operations of the Canadian Coast Guard. The site is industrial in scale, and the hardwearing material finishes reflect the site’s use as a Federal rescue facility. The functional structures are primarily constructed of concrete block, steel beams and metal siding. The project work is primarily of a maintenance nature and includes some minor repairs, all of which are consistent with the age and location of the buildings. Included within the scope of work is the painting of doors, siding and flashing by the elevation 1984 colour chart; the refurbishment of windows, including the replacement of glazing and re-caulking of frames, and the repainting and/or repairing of exterior elements across the site. All work is to be completed in coordination with the protection of existing fixtures and equipment on the site Optional Site Visit An Optional site visit will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10:30AM. Bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the site visit. Interested contractors who wish to attend are required to give notice in writing with names of attendants. Please contact the Contracting Officer, Bob Hassell at (416)-590-8270 and email bob.hassell@pwgsc.gc.ca to confirm attendance. Bidders are to meet at the Guard House, main entrance at 28 Waubeek Street, Parry Sound, Ontario. Notice must be provided to Bob Hassell in advance of Optional Site Visit. Bidders will be required to register with the Contracting Authority Bob Hassell prior to the site meeting and provide name(s) of individuals attending. Prior notice is required to ensure gate passes are issued. Identification MUST be brought to the site meeting otherwise there will be no access. Bidders will be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation. The duration of work is thirty-five (35) weeks from date of award. IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS IMPORTANT CHANGES TO GI01 "CODE OF CONDUCT AND CERTIFICATION OF - BID" R2710T, GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS (REFER TO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS TOBIDDERS SI02) Bidders should provide, with their bid or promptly thereafter, a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If such a list has not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to provide such a list within the required time frame will render the bid non-responsive. Bidders must always submit the list of directors before contract award. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals named in the aforementioned list within a specified delay. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the delay will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. A COMPLETE LIST OF EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO IS CURRENTLY ON THE BIDDER'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS. (SEE APPENDIX 2 OF THE "ITT" DOCUMENT) Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
