Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Marine Engineering Services T4005-160026/A GSIN: R008A Request for Standing Offer No. T4005-160026/A - South Western Ontario Region - Civil Marine Engineering Services for Transport Canada Public Works and Government Services Canada, on behalf of Transport Canada, is calling for proposals from experienced Marine Engineering consulting firms with in-house resources and/or a team of sub-consultants to provide a range of marine engineering services in South Western Ontario Region mainly at Transport Canada facilities at Burlington Channel, Owen Sound Harbour, Pelee Island Scudder Wharf, South Baymouth Ferry Terminal, Tobermory Ferry Terminal and Walpole Island Ferry terminal. The Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) may result in the authorization of one (1) Standing Offer for South Western Ontario Region, for a period of three (3) years from the date of issuance of the Standing Offer. Canada anticipates the total value of this Standing Offer to be approximately $300,000.00 (HST extra). Examples of the types of projects which will require marine engineering services include carrying out inspections, investigations, monitoring and analysis of marine works of all materials (concrete, steel, wood, stone etc.) including all components such as approaches, embarkments, abutments, wing walls, slopes, retaining walls, slabs, decks, superstructures, substructures, barriers, railings, curbs, mooringsystem, berthing system etc. The Consultant Team must be capable of developing tender documents for the design of new and/or repair/rehabilitation of existing marine works. TheRFSO will be a single submission process. Proposals will be evaluated for both technical content and price. The proposal rankings will be based on 90% for technical evaluation and 10% for price. Standing Offer particulars are described in the RFSO. Firms should be able to demonstrate successful delivery of the above referencedservices for a broad variety of projects over the last five (5) years. In general, the firm and its personnel will be evaluated on the basis of their demonstrated understandingof the scope of services, their approach and methodology to providing those services, the quality of their relevant experience in this area, as well as the cost of the provision of the services. Firms interested in providing these services may order the Request for Standing Offer documents which are distributed through theGovernment Electronic Tendering Service (GETS). Standard Terms and Conditions for this procurementare incorporated by reference into, and form part of the Tender and Contract Documents. The Standard documents are issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada and may be viewed on buyandsell.gc.ca. Tender documents can be obtained from GETS by visiting their web site at http://buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. Amendments, when issued, will be available from GETS. In all cases bidders must indicate in the space provided on the Proposal Form the identification number(s) of the amendment(s), if any, that they have taken into consideration for their bid.
