Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Transformer End of Life Replacement at Canadian Center for Inland Waters (CCIW) KW405-220207/A Kwan, Isaac Telephone No. - (343) 573-3068 ( ) Fax No. - (416) 952-1257 ( ) NOTICE OF PROPOSED PROCUREMENT (NPP) CCIW Transformer Recapitalization Burlington, ON DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), Real Property Branch requires a qualified general contractor to carry out CCIW TRANSFORMER RECAPILIZATION AND RELATED WORKS at Burlington, Ontario This work shall be in accordance with the Specifications for Project No. KW405-180719/001/PWL CCIW Transformer Recapitalization dated 2021-07-14 and their respective Drawings. The work includes but is not limited to: general construction and modification to the existing site to allow for replacement of three transformers, located at Canada Centre of Inland Water at Burlington, ON. Including all require services and verifications like phase rotation, orientation etc. to be completed with the existing electrical system in order to successfully replace and operate the new transformers OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be a site visit on August 12, 2021 at 10:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at 867 Lakeshore Road, Burlington, ON, L7S 1A1. Bidders must register with the Contracting Officer Isaac Kwan by email at Isaac.kwan@pwgsc.gc.ca. Safety Attire: In order to be guaranteed access to the site visit all persons should have the proper personal protection equipment (safety glasses, footwear, vests and hard hats etc.). Contractor`s personnel/individuals who do not have the proper safety attire may be denied access to the site. COVID-19 Protocols for Site Visit: a. Only two bidders from each company permitted b. Wear a Non-medical masks/face covering at all times while outside of vehicle. c. Maintain 2m social distancing at all time. d. Observe proper hand hygiene while on site. Sanitize hands before entering the building and after exiting. Attendees should bring their own hand sanitizer. e. Attendance will be taken by Bidders announcing their name and Departmental Representative recording (no list passed around). f. Bidder self-screening and declaration that not ill is required at arrival (see attachment). g. Avoid social greetings (e.g. shaking hands). COMPLETION DATE The Contractor shall perform and complete the Work within Thirty (30) weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.
