** IMPORTANT UPDATE** Effective April 16, 2020:

Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Edmonton will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9 am to 11 am and Tuesday, 9 am to 2 pm (local time). 

Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender.

**IMPORTANT UPDATE** New process for hand-delivered bids, Edmonton Office, Canada Place - Effective March 11, 2020

Effective March 11, 2020:

Suppliers must be escorted by PSPC staff to access the Canada Place Bid Receiving Unit. Suppliers will not be issued a visitor’s pass as previously communicated.

A courtesy phone will be available at the Commissionaire/Information desk in the main lobby. The courtesy phone will be preprogrammed with a direct line to PSPC reception.

A PSPC staff member will meet suppliers at the Commissionaire/Information desk and escort them to the Bid Receiving Unit within the building’s secured space.

Please ensure adequate time is allotted to deliver a bid to account for this new security procedure.

It is the responsibility of suppliers to ensure that the bid, offer or arrangement, as applicable, is delivered on time to the Bid Receiving Unit.

Viviarium Cage and Rack Washer, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) Lethbridge Research and Development Centre

Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada (AAFC) Lethbridge Research and Development Centre has a requirement to purchase a Vivarium Cage and Rack Washer. 

Overview - This Cage and Rack Washer, which is a heavy duty, large capacity, hydro-spray washer designed for cleaning of cages, racks, debris pans, and miscellaneous items will be used in care of laboratory animals.

Work of this Contract generally includes supply, installation and commissioning of a laboratory cage and rack washer in an existing building at the Lethbridge Research & Development Centre (LeRDC) located at 5403 1st Avenue South Lethbridge, Alberta T1J 4B1; and further identified as Lethbridge Research & Development Centre, Vivarium Rack Washer Replacement Phase 1, Project R.101341.001, hereafter known as Phase 1.

Work by Others: Modifications to this facility will be executed under a separate contract identified as Lethbridge Research & Development Centre, Vivarium Rack Washer Replacement Phase 2 (Phase 2).
