Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: ** IMPORTANT UPDATE** Effective April 16, 2020: Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Edmonton will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 9 am to 11 am and Tuesday, 9 am to 2 pm (local time). Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender. Please monitor Buyandsell.gc.ca closely as changes to bid closing dates may be necessary. **IMPORTANT UPDATE** New process for hand-delivered bids, Edmonton Office, Canada Place - Effective March 11, 2020 Suppliers must be escorted by PSPC staff to access the Canada Place Bid Receiving Unit. Suppliers will not be issued a visitor’s pass as previously communicated. A courtesy phone will be available at the Commissionaire/Information desk in the main lobby. The courtesy phone will be preprogrammed with a direct line to PSPC reception. A PSPC staff member will meet suppliers at the Commissionaire/Information desk and escort them to the Bid Receiving Unit within the building’s secured space. Please ensure adequate time is allotted to deliver a bid to account for this new security procedure. It is the responsibility of suppliers to ensure that the bid, offer or arrangement, as applicable, is delivered on time to the Bid Receiving Unit. Electrical Contractor Services - Department of National Defence Scope of work includes but shall not be limited to the provision of all labour, equipment, tools, material, transportation and supervision necessary to provide inspection services, repairs, maintenance, upgrades and new installation of electrical equipment and systems. High Voltage, fire alarm, intrusion alarm, Building Management Systems, and power generation services are also required from time to time. The work will be as requested by Department of National Defence (DND) as per call-ups for Electrical Contractor Services at the following DND location: - CFB Suffield, AB - Work sites for this Standing Offer will be CFB Suffield buildings including DND, BATUS and DRDC occupied buildings. It also includes other infrastructure at the village of Ralston, CFB Suffield utility and natural gas field locations and is not restricted to other DND occupied facilities in Southern Alberta. Services are to be provided on an "as requested basis". It is anticipated that one (1) standing offer will be issued to the lowest compliant offeror. The standing offer will be issued for a period of three (3) year period. This procurement contains MANDATORY requirements. See Part 4 and 5 of the RFSO for details. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). There is a security requirement associated with this requirement. Debriefings After issuance of a standing offer, offerors may request a debriefing on the results of the request for standing offer. Offerors should make the request to the Standing Offer Authority within 15 working days of receipt of notification that their offer was unsuccessful.
