Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Edmonton will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday and Thursday 9 am to 11 am and Tuesday 9 am to 2 pm (local time). 

Public tender openings will be suspended until further notice. Following solicitation closing, bid results will be recorded and may be obtained by e-mailing a request to the address indicated in the Invitation to Tender.

Conditional Set-Aside Under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business

This procurement is conditionally set aside under the federal government Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business.

In order to be considered, the Bidder must certify that it qualifies as an Aboriginal business as defined under PSAB and that it will comply with all requirements of PSAB. If bids from two (2) or more Aboriginal businesses are compliant with the terms of the Request for Standing Offer, the contracting authority will limit the competition to those Aboriginal businesses and will not consider bids from any non-Aboriginal businesses that may have been submitted.

High Pressure Welding Standing Offer

Service under this agreement shall cover the supply of:
On an "as and when requested" basis, and upon approval of quote, has everything necessary to perform the Work, including the resources, facilities, labour, technology, supervision, and materials required to perform high pressure welding repairs of equipment or buildings located at Edmonton Garrison.    

The work will be as requested by Department of National Defence (DND) as per call-ups for High Pressure Welding Services at the following DND location:
- Edmonton Garrison, AB 

It is anticipated that 1 firm will be issued the standing offer. The standing offer will be issued for a period of three (3) years. The usage over the term is estimated at $1,575,000.00 (GST/HST included).

This procurement contains MANDATORY requirements. See Part 4 and 5 of the RFSO for details.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

Debriefings
After issuance of a standing offer, offerors may request a debriefing on the results of the request for standing offer. Offerors should make the request to the Standing Offer Authority within 15 working days of receipt of notification that their offer was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person.
