    Painting Services Standing Offer, Iqaluit, Nunavit
    
    Work under this standing offer includes the provision of skilled
    licensed labour, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision
    and material as requested by Public Works and Government
    Services Canada in the form of call ups for painting services
    work at the the GOCB, Federal Housing, and any building that
    falls under PWGSC management within the jurisdiction of Nunavut.
     Services are to be provided on an "as required"  basis.  It is
    anticipated that only 1 firm will be issued a standing offer.
    The standing offer will be issued for a term of five (5) years.
    The total expenditures over the term is estimated at $250,000.00
    (GST/HST included).
    
    This procurement contains a MANDATORY requirements. See Part 4
    for details.

    There is a security requirement associated with this
    requirement. For additional information, consult Part 4 -
    Evaluation Procedures and Basis of Selection, and Part 6A -
    Standing Offer. Offerors should consult the "Security

    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
    Internal Trade (AIT).
    
    Optional Site Visit
    
    It is recommended that the Offeror or a representative of the
    Offeror visit the work site.  Arrangements
    have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will
    be held on March 8, 2012 at 10:00 AM, at
    Building 2225, Iqaluit, Nunavut.  Offerors may be requested to
    sign an attendance form.  Offerors who do
    not attend or send a representative will not be given an
    alternative appointment but they will not be
    precluded from submitting a bid.  Any clarifications or changes
    to the Request for Standing Offers
    resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment
    to the RFSO.
    
    
    Aboriginal Benefits Evaluation
    The Contractor has the ability to receive evaluation deductions
    through the provision of Nunavut Land Claim involvement in their
    proposal.  A reduction of up to 10% may be applied to the total
    assessed bid price base on the provision of proof that your
    organization or service provided meets the criteria stated in
    Aboriginal Benefits.

    Debriefings
    After issuance of a standing offer, offerors may request a
    debriefing on the results of the request for standing offers.

    offer was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in
    writing, by telephone or in person.
