Reconstruction and Paving of existing Visitor Centre Parking Lot, Elk Island National Park,

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the Parks Canada, Elk Island National Park is seeking tenders for the provision of all materials, equipment, labour and supervision necessary for the provision of reconstruction and paving the existing Visitors’ Centre Parking Lot at Elk Island National Park, Edmonton Alberta, as detailed in the drawings and specifications and the Invitation to Tender Document.

Drawing and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF). Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT1) contains the Drawing and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.

Value of Project:  To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $500,001 > $ 1,000,000.

OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:
There will be an optional Bidders’ site meeting on Friday, 16 September 2016 at 10:00 a.m.  

Directions to the Bidders’ site meeting are as follows:
Elk Island National Park entrance is located on Highway 16, approximately 27km east of Highway 21.  
- Turn north onto Elk Island Parkway from Highway 16 and proceed 600m north on Parkway.
- Turn right into the Visitor Centre Parking Lot. Meeting location will be in the parking lot. (See attached Map)

Bidders who, for any reason, cannotattend at the specified date and time will not be given an alternative appointment to view the site. No exceptions will be made.
