    Requirement - Demolition of Four Bay Garage, Norman Wells, NT
    
    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) has a
    requirement for the provision of all materials, equipment,
    labour and supervision to complete the following project.
    
    The project will involve demolition, transportation and disposal
    of all materials associated with a single 112.1 m2 structure
    with a peaked roof on timber cribs without basement. The
    building is wood frame construction with painted wooden exterior
    cladding. The interior walls and ceiling are plywood and the
    floor is of wood construction. The walls and ceilings are
    insulated with rock wool. The building is heated by an oil fired
    ceiling mounted furnace. The building does not receive water or
    sewer services.
    
    The building is currently unoccupied and located at 4 Woodland
    Avenue, Unit-62, Norman Wells, Northwest Territories. A
    demolition waste survey has been completed to identify and
    quantify building materials and infrastructure including
    hazardous building materials and associated components of the
    building.
    
    NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements have been made for a
    tour of the work site.
    
    There will be an optional site visit on Tuesday, July 21, 2015
    at 1:00pm MDT. Interested bidders are to meet at 4 Woodland
    Avenue, Unit-62, Norman Wells, Northwest Territories.
    
    Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be required and supplied
    by the Bidder.
    
    Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form.  Bidders
    who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an
    alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from
    submitting a bid.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid
    solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
    an amendment to the bid solicitation.
    
    NOTE : Contractors are hereby informed that this project is
    located within a Comprehensive Land Claim Settlement Area
    (CLCSA) covered under the provisions of Sahtu Dene and Metis
    Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement (SDMCLCA) contained in
    Chapter 12 - Economic Measures.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on
    Internal Trade (AIT).

    This PWGSC Office provides procurement services to the Public in
    English.
    
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
    
    Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and
    downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF).  Bidders should
    note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and
    Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files
    organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
