    PWGSC is seeking the services of a qualified Contractor to undertake the dredging of the Canadian Coast Guard Wharf in Norman Wells, NWT. The existing wharf, located on the north bank of the Mackenzie River in Norman Wells, NWT. was built in 1975. The wharf consists of a steel sheet pile wall with rock backfill. Access is from a public service road. The river fronting the wharf has significant infilling and will require dredging to allow access for the Coast Guard vessels. Volume of excavation and disposal is approximately 2000m3. 
    
    The work of this contract comprises the provisions of all construction, labour and materials, demolition, plant, equipment and temporary facilities and all other goods and services required to complete the work in conformance with the Contract Documents.
    
    The proposed requirement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements: Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claim
    
    There will be no scheduled site visit.  Site photos will be provided and the site is open for viewing at bidders discretion.
    
    Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between:
    Category 2          $100,001 > $ 250,000
    
    This PWGSC Office provides procurement services to the Public in English.
    
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
