Line 1,  Exhaust System Installation
Description:
Public Works and Government Services Canada has been requested by Correctional Services Canada to provide contracting services for the supply and install of an exhaust system for the Front End and Cultural Centre at the Edmonton Maximum Security Institution (EMSI).  The objective of the project is to upgrade the existing HVAC system to allow for venting of ceremonial smoke from the cultural room directly to the exteriorof the building.  This will avoid the smoke from infringing on other work spaces in the Front End of the EMSI.  The scope of work for this project will involve the following tasks:
• Electrical/Telephone/Data demolition and installation services;
• Mechanical demolition and installation services;
• Plumbing and gas fitting demolition and installation services;
• Drywall/Dropped ceiling repair and finishing.

 Integrity Provisions: 
Changes have been made to the Integrity Provisions - Bid as of 2016-04-04. See GI01, Integrity Provision-Bid of R2710T of the General Instructions for more information

Listing of Contractors:
As per GI07 of R2710T you should provide using Annex “C” at Bid closing a list of Subcontractors that have 20% or more of the tendered price value.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $100,001 > $250,000.00, taxes extra.

Optional Site Visit:  
There will be a site visit on January 9, 2017at 09:30 am. Interested bidders are to meet at the gate house of the Edmonton Institute Maximum Security Institute.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
