Line 1, RISO - Flooring Services
Description:  Public Works and Government Services Canada and Correction Services Canada requires a Standing Offer for Flooring Services, on an as and when requested basis, at three Corrections Services Canada Edmonton locations:
1.  Edmonton Maximum Security Institution,
2.  Edmonton Institution for Women, and,
3. Grierson Centre.  
Work under this Standing Offer for Flooring Services to include installation, repair and maintenance, such as:
• Removal and proper disposal of various floor coverings;
• Installation of products following industry best practices and code requirements;
• Installation of the following floor coverings:
 - Carpet or rug products in either sheet to tile;
 - Linoleum sheet roll or tile product;
 - Slate or Terrazzo tile products
 - Other miscellaneous or future flooring requirements
 - Prepare manufacturers’ maintenance packages for client staff;
• All work is to be conducted in adherence to Corrections Services Canada contractor security protocols.
It is anticipated that only 1 firm will be issued a standing offer. The estimated start date is May 15, 2017 for a period of two years, no option period(s).

Integrity Provisions:  Changes have been made to the Integrity Provisions - Bid as of 2016-04-04. See 01, Integrity Provision - Offer, of 2006 Standard Instructions - Request for Standing Offers for more information.

Security Requirement: There is a CPIC security requirement associated with this Request For StandingOffer. For additional information, see Part 6 - Security, Financial and Insurance Requirements, and Part 7 - Standing Offer and Resulting Contract Clauses.

Trade Agreement(s):  The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on InternalTrade (AIT).

Debriefing: After issuance of a standing offer, offerors may request a debriefing on the results of the request for standing offers. Offerors should make the request to the Standing Offer Authority within 15 working days of receipt ofnotification that their offer was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person. The debriefing will include an outline of the reasons the submission was not successful, making reference to the evaluation criteria. The confidentiality of information relating to other submissions will be protected.
