    Requirement:
    The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) is responsible for delivering federally mandated programs for food inspection, plant and animal health.
    CFIA has identifying several deficiencies associated with the existing incinerator at their Lethbridge Laboratory. The incinerator is a Voltec Industries, Vertec model #1000 TLM. This unit is original to the building and has a throughput capacity of 400kg/hr. It is a single pass incinerator and is located over two different operating levels in the building. The unit has 4 fuel master burners ranging in output. Two high output burners are located in the lower chamber while two slightly smaller burners are located in the upper chamber. This incinerator has a 25 m stack. 
    Upgrades are required to bring the incinerator to current legislative requirements and operating technologies.
    NOTICE - OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    There will be a site visit on July 20, 2021 at 10:00 am. Interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) Lethbridge Laboratory, Township Road 9-1, Lethbridge, Alberta. 
    
    To ensure a fair bidding process, no questions will be answered at the site visit. Please submit all questions via email to alex.tikhonovitch@pwgsc-tpsgc.gc.ca. Questions and answers will be posted on buy and sell website.
    
    Value of Project:  To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $500,001 > $1,000,000
