Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is inviting qualified Design-Build (D-B) bidders to deliver and build foundation and substructure repair/remediation/or - replacement for two residential housing units in Inuvik, NT. 

The objective of this RFP is to retain an individual Contractor or Joint Venture to provide the complete design-build work for the delivery and build foundation and substructure repair/remediation/or - replacement for two residential housing units in Inuvik, NT.   

Utilizing a D-B service delivery methodology, a full range of professional consultant and contractor services will be required during both the design and construction phases of the project. The work consists of but is not limited to the design and construction of the two residential housing units, as more fully described in the Terms of Reference.

This is a single phase selection process. This RFP Document sets out the project requirement, i.e., the particulars of the project itself and the broad scope of services required from the Contractor.

Delivery Date: 8 weeks from the date of contract award

The proposed requirement is subject to the following Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements:
- Inuvialuit Final Agreement 
- Gwich'in Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement

Value of Project:  To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated at a value between $100,001 < $250,000  

Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in the Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Packages (DSP) which consist of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure

There will be a site visit on Thursday October 13, 2016 at 2:30PM. Interested bidders are to meet at Spruce Hill Drive, Inuvik, NT.
