Reissue of Bid Solicitation

This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number E0209-160750/B dated 2015-11-23 with a closing of 2016-01-06 at 02:00 PM (Mountain Standard Time MST). A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders who bid on the previous solicitation.

GENERAL CONTRACTOR SERVICES - NORTH PORTAL, SASKATCHEWAN

REQUIREMENT: Work under this standing offer includes the provision of skilled licensed labour, tools, equipment, supervision and material as requested by Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of Canada Border Services Agency, North Portal, Saskatchewan in the form of callups for the provisions of General Contractor Services as detailed in the Statement of Work attached to the Request for Standing Offer. Services are to be provided on an "as required" basis.  It is anticipated that only 1 firm will be issued a standing offer. The standing offer will be issued for a term of three (3) years.

SUPPORT THE USE OF APPRENTICES: Through Canada's Economic Action Plan 2013, the Government of Canada proposes to support the employmentof apprentices in federal construction and maintenance projects. Please refer to SI12 of solicitation document for further instructions.

DEBRIEFING: After issuance of a standing offer, offerors may request a debriefing on the results of the request for standing offers. Offerors should make the request to the Standing Offer Authority within 15 working days of receipt of notification that their offer was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person. The debriefingwill include
an outline of the reasons the submission was not successful, making reference to the evaluation criteria. The confidentiality of information relating to other submissions will be protected.
