Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Underground Storage Tank Removal, RCMP, Red Deer, AB The work comprises of all activities associated with the supply and installation of the new aboveground storage tank to supply fuel for the facility's existing emergency generator followed by the decommissioning of the existing underground fuel storage tank. Work will include the appropriate and compliant decommissioning of the underground fuel storage tank and all associated appurtenances, the disposal of any petroleum hydrocarbon-impacted soils (if identified) and site restoration to pre-decommissioning conditions or better. The new above ground storage tank will need to be commissioned and operational prior to the removal of the underground storage tank. Bidders are advised that the Owner will conduct weekly visual inspections of the new aboveground storage tank condition. Completion Date: July 31, 2012 OPTIONAL SITE VISIT There will be an optional site visit on March 14, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. This PWGSC Office provides procurement service to the public in English. Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
