Government of Canada is moving its Government Electronic

1, 2013

Starting June 1, 2013, federal government tenders (tender
notices and bid solicitation documents) will be published and
available free of charge on a Government of Canada Web site on
Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.

The Government Electronic Tendering Service on
Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders will be the sole authoritative source
for Government of Canada tenders that are subject to trade
agreements or subject to departmental policies that require
public advertising of tenders.

amendments will be on Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.

Work under this standing offer includes the provision of skilled
licensed labour, tools, equipment, supervision and material as
requested by Public Works and Government Services Canada, to
perform minor electrical maintenance to Federal Government
facilities and building equipment as specified in the Statement
of Work for Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC)
Housing Units, Apartment Building(s), or any facility that falls
under PWGSC jurisdiction within the Yellowknife area.

The Period of Standing Offer is for two years from date of
Standing Offer issuance, with the option to extend the Standing
Offer for two additional one year option periods.  

NOTE : Contractors are hereby informed that this project is
located within a Comprehensive Land Claim Settlement Area
(CLCSA) covered under the provisions of Tlicho Land Claims
Agreement.

The successful bidder must be able to meet the requirements of a
Designated Organization Screening and all personnel performing
work under the Contract must hold a valid Reliability Status.

Debriefing:  
After issuance of a standing offer, offerors may request a
debriefing on the results of the request for standing offers. 
Offerors should make the request to the Standing Offer Authority
within 15 working days of receipt of notification that their
offer was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in
writing, by telephone or in person. The debriefing will include
an outline of the reasons the submission was not successful,
making reference to the evaluation criteria. The confidentiality
of information relating to other submissions will be protected.
