Verification

Pursuant to GI01 of General Instructions to Bidders R2710T,
bidders must submit the following as part of their bid:
 				
a.	a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently
directors of the 			Bidder and
			
b. 	a properly completed and signed consent form, for each
individual named 				in the aforementioned list. The form

Work Description: 

Work under this Contract comprise of the installation of a
bollard and construction of a cast-in-place foundation located
at the west side of the North Landing Wharf of the Esquimalt
Graving Dock.

Work to be performed under this Contract includes, but is not
limited to, the following items covered further in the contract
documents:
1.  Installing  a new bollard with 200 tonne capacity.  Bollard
and hardware provided by Departmental Representative.  
2.  Removing and disposing existing bollards, removing a light
pole, junction boxes and other existing services which are in
the footprint of the new foundation.
3.  Reinstate existing light pole, junction box and services.
4.  Removal of existing asphalt and concrete surfaces,
excavation and stockpiling of contaminated fill material found
during construction throughout the new foundation footprint.
5.  Preparation of the foundation subsurface and backfill to
geotechnical requirements.  Refer to relevant specifications ad
geotechnical report in appendix.
6.  Constructing a new cast-in-place reinforced concrete pad
foundation with retaining walls, pedestals, and slab on grade.
7.  Supply and installation of drainage pipes and catch basins.
8.  Removal of a portion of existing retaining wall.
9.  Supply and installation of wood curbs.

Site Visit:
A Site Visit has been scheduled for July 31, 2012 at 1:30 pm
local time.  

Contractors are to meet at PWGSC Project Trailer located at 825
Admirals Road, Victoria, BC. 
Interested bidders are required to provide their name(s) and
company names to ruth.mestry@pwgsc.gc.ca prior to site visit. 

The front gate commissionaires will only allow access to site if
previous visitor information is provided and name(s) appear on
the visitor list


Delivery Date: 
The work is to be completed within Fourteen (14) weeks after
contract award.

Value of Project: 
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between 
$500,000.00 to $600,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders for this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX services
provider. Addenda when issued will be available from the MERX
services provider. Firms that elect to base their bid on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the bid
calling authority on their intention to bid. In all cases,
bidders must indicate (when requested) on the tender form the
identification number(s) of the addenda, if any, that they have
taken into consideration for their bid submission.

public in English.
