CODE OF CONDUCT Code of Conduct and Certifications - Bid Pursuant to GI01 of General Instructions to Bidders R2710T, bidders must submit the following as part of their bid: a. a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder and b. a properly completed and signed Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form (PWGSC-TPSGC 229, http://www.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/app-acq/forms/formulaires-forms-eng. html), for each individual named in the aforementioned list. Work Description: Work under this contract includes, but is not limited to, the following items covered further in the Contract documents: 1. Remove the existing fire alarm devices (detectors, bells, pullstations) and fire Alarm panel. 2. Make good existing wiring. 3. Supply, install and connect fire alarm devices (detectors, bells, visual alarm, sires, pullstations), fire alarm panel. 4. Arrange and pay for the requirement commissionaire services. Allow one commissionaire per shift. 5. Arrange and pay for "Fire Watch" when the fire alarm system is not functional. 6. Repair all existing surface when the existing devices and wiring is removed. 7. Remove existing 4 sprinkler heads and associated piping in the main floor lobby. 8. Add sprinkler suppression system to the basement and first floor. 9. Add a new 152 mm main water connection to the City water main. Include all required civil work building penetrations and city charges. 10 Add a sprinkler tree and flow switches, valves and tamper switches. 11. Add a Siamese connection. 12. Add a sump, in basement, with associated piping for sprinkler testing. 13. Repair all walls, slabs, ceiling, floors damaged by the sprinkler and plumbing lines. 14. Asbestos abatement. 15. Testing and commissioning. Site Visit: Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to submitting a tender for this work and to make inquiries or investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with the site as well as the nature and extent of the work. A Site Visit has been scheduled for August 09, 2012 at 1:00 pm local time. Contractors are asked to meet at the front entrance lobby at 280 Victoria Street, Prince George. Delivery Date: The work shall commence immediately upon official notification of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to be completed by 31 October 2012. Value of Project: To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project is estimated to cost between $250,000.00 to $300,000. Firms intending to submit tenders for this project should obtain tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX services provider. Addenda when issued will be available from the MERX services provider. Firms that elect to base their bid on tender (solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the bid calling authority on their intention to bid. In all cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) on the tender form the identification number(s) of the addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for their bid submission. This procurement office provides procurement services to the public in English. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
