Location:
Abbotsford, BC - Fraser Valley Institution - 33344 King Road

Work Description:
Work under this Contract comprises HVAC work for the new twenty
bed living unit and remedial work.

Delivery Date:
The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
be completed by 31st December 2013.

Site Visit Date:
A site visit has been scheduled for 4th July 2013 @ 10:00 AM
PDST.  Contractors are to meet at the main entrance on site at
33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC. Contractors are to note that
this is not a mandatory site visit and is optional.  However, it
is recommended that contractors visit the site prior to closing
to familiarize themselves with the site and the work under this
Contract. 

All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets
WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site
visit.  No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or laptop
computers are allowed into institutions at any time.

Value of Project:
To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
is estimated to cost between 
$550,000.00 - $580,000.00.

Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain
tender (solicitation) documents through the MERX service
provider.  Addenda, when issued will be available from the MERX
service provider.  Firms that elect to base their bids on tender
(solicitation) documents obtained from other sources do so at
their own risk and will be solely responsible to inform the
tender calling authority of their intention to bid.  In all
cases, bidders must indicate (when requested) in the space
provided on the tender form the identification number (s) of the
addenda, if any, that they have taken into consideration for
their bid.

This procurement office provides procurement services to the
public in English.

procurement.
