    Work Description:
    Work under this Contract comprises renovations at Pacific
    Institution Kitchen, including removal and disposal of existing
    flooring, providing & install MMA Quartz Flooring.  Removal,
    additional and or upgrading of existing kitchen equipment as
    noted on drawings; and touch-up painting of walls where affected
    by renovation work.  The building is to remain operational
    during construction.  Contractor to have a dust control plan in
    place on site to minimize dust that may be generated when
    grinding existing flooring adhesive.  Ensure that staff use face
    masks and HEPA vacuum to collect any dust.
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
    of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
    be completed within five (5) weeks.
    
    Site Visit Date:
    A site visit has been scheduled for 7th March 2014 @ 9:30 AM
    PST.  Contractors are to meet at the PWGSC site office at
    Pacific Institution, 33344 King Road, Abbotsford, BC. 
    Contractors are to note that this is not a mandatory site visit
    and is optional.  However, it is recommended that contractors
    visit the site prior to closing. 
    
    All contractors must wear a high visibility vest, which meets
    WCB standards, for all site visits including a tender site
    visit.  No cameras, cell phones (of any type) or laptop
    computers are allowed into institutions at any time.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements, this project
    is estimated to cost between 
    $275,000.00 - 325,000.00.
    
    Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

    Addenda, when issued will be available from GETS - Buy and Sell.
     Firms that elect to base their bids on tender (solicitation)
    documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk

    indicate (when requested) in the space provided on the tender
