    Work Description:
    Work under this standing offer includes the furnishing of all
    labour, material, tools, equipment, supervision, and
    transportation required to complete high voltage
    switching/isolation/grounding services, repair of high voltage
    switchgear, power factor correction, hypot testing, power
    quality studies, ground resistance calculation and field
    testing. Work will be on an as and when requested basis for
    Dept. Of National Defence, CFB Esquimalt and other properties
    operated by CFB Esquimalt during the period specified.
    
    Qualifications - Class A unrestricted license in the province of
    British Columbia, Registered Professional Engineer in the
    Province of British Columbia, Current Power Safety Protection,
    trained to level 5.  
    
    Experience in: Engineering: Harmonic/Disturbance Modelling; load
    flow studies and co-ordinating studies; ground grid design and
    testing. Field Work: startup verification services on high
    voltage breakers, transformers, relays and cables; ground grid
    testing, step and touch calculations, harmonic and disturbance
    measurements; equipment, specifications, procurement and
    supervision of installations. 
        
    Period of Standing Offer:  The period for placing call-ups
    against the Standing Offer shall be from the date of standing
    offer to  to 31 August, 2016.  
    
    It is anticipated that 1 standing offer will be issued. The
    total expenditure is $560,000.00 (Applicable taxes included).
    
    THIS STANDING OFFER CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT:
    Your company and your employees shall require a Reliability
    Status Security Clearance. Clearance paperwork shall be
    accomplished between PWGSC and Canadian Industrial Security
    Division (CISD) and the successful contractor.
