    Work Description:
    Work under this contract comprises replacement of 230 cell
    windows located at Mission Institution, Mission, British
    Columbia. Work will be performed in accordance with the contract
    schedules within the scope of work. This includes but is not
    limited to the following:
    - removal and disposal of existing windows, providing new
    aluminum windows and remedial work 
    - provide the following spare windows and components:
    i) Two (2) complete spare windows with glazing and all trims
    ii) Twelve (12) stainless steel mess screen units mounted in
    screen frame
    iii) Four (4) glazed aluminum sliding sash units
    iv) Four (4) sets of replacement window glass to match sizes 
    
    Site Visit:
    Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
    submitting a tender for this work and to make enquiries or
    investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
    the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    There will be a site visit on December 16, 2014 at 9:30am PST.
    Interested bidders are to meet at the Mission Institution 8751
    Stave Lake Street, Mission, British Columbia. 
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
    of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority and is to
    be completed within twenty-six (26) weeks of contract award.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
    is estimated to cost between 
    $950,000.00  - $1,050,000.00.
    
    Firms intending to submit proposals on this project should

    issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
    Firms that elect to base their proposal on documents obtained
    from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely
    responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their
    intention to bid.
