    Km 151.2 to Km 206, Km 251 to Km 258 and Km 413 to Km 451.4,
    Alaska Highway, B.C.
    
    Work Description:
    Work under this contract covers supplying traffic control,
    placing a single application of Micro Surfacing. The work will
    be carried on the Alaska Highway in British Columbia. The Micro
    Surfacing shall comprise a total length of approximately 99.7
    kilometres. . Work will be performed in accordance with the
    contract schedules within the scope of work.  The work includes
    but is not limited to:
    - Supply traffic control signs, traffic control personnel, and
    pilot vehicle
    - Prior to micro surfacing operation supply and stockpile
    blotting sand, aggregate and storage of polymer modified asphalt
    at:
    	- Km 161 Wonowon Maintenance Camp
    	- Km 202 Old Alignment
    	- Km 256 Sikanni Maintenance Camp
    	- Km 445 Fort Nelson Pit
    - Supply and apply micro surfacing with a continuous paver, and
    roll when necessary
    - Micro surfacing shall not be installed over the length of the
    two bridge decks in this contract
    
    Site Visit:
    There will be no site meeting scheduled.
    
    Contractors are strongly recommended to visit the site prior to
    submitting a tender for this work and to make enquiries or
    investigations necessary to become thoroughly acquainted with
    the site as well as the nature and extent of the work.
    
    Delivery Date:
    The work shall commence immediately upon official notification
    of acceptance of tender by the Contracting Authority. Work under
    this contract must be completed by August 15, 2015. No
    extensions will be given. Contractor will only receive payment
    for the amount of micro surfacing placed up to this date.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
    is estimated to cost between 
    $3,000,000.00  - $3,500,000.00.
    
    Firms intending to submit proposals on this project should

    issued will be available from Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders.
    Firms that elect to base their proposal on documents obtained
    from other sources do so at their own risk and will be solely
    responsible to inform the tender calling authority of their
