    Asphalt Concrete Paving

    Km 458 to  Km 485, Alaska Highway, B.C.
    
    Work Description:
    Work under this contract consists of improvement of the Alaska
    Highway from Km 458 to Km 485. Work will be performed in
    accordance with the contract schedules within the scope of work.
     The work includes but is not limited to:
    - Excavate, load, haul and compact common embankment material
    for roadway widening to accommodate new turning lanes on the
    highway at the intersection of Liard Highway, Km 483.5 on the
    Alaska Highway
    - Supply, haul, place and compact base gravel courses, and
    shoulder gravel fillet
    - Full Depth Reclamation of the existing Bituminous Surface
    treatment (BST)
    - Supply and placement of asphalt primer, asphalt tack cost, and
    asphaltic concrete pavement including manufacture of Asphaltic
    Concrete pavement aggregate
    - Installation of rumble strips and temporary line markings
    - Supply and install CSP culvert
    - Supply and install pavement markings
    - Survey (construction layout and payment quantities)
    - Supply and maintenance of all traffic control for the duration
    of the work
    - Quality control
    
    Delivery Date:
    The period of the contract is from date of award to August 15,
    2015.

    Value of Project:
    To assist with bonding and insurance requirements this project
    is estimated to cost between 
    $9,500,000.00  - $10,500,000.00.
